Anne Jan Toonstra (Groningen, NL) is a musician, pianist and singer.
In 2024 he released his debut album Rough Sleeper Rising Star. A dynamic, varied and richly arranged debut record. The third single Bright Night, was declared ‘Gronings Goud’ and was played daily for a week at RTV Noord.
And now Anne Jan’s second album While We Were Grandiose is out. As was the previous one, this record was made in collaboration with producer Gijs van Veldhuizen.
Both albums can be found on all streaming services and are available on vinyl.
The release of While We Were Grandiose will be celebrated with a show on Friday 2 October in Theater de Oosterpoort in Groningen.
